HISTORIC JEFFERSON PARK
GET TO KNOW US
Jefferson Park is a vibrant neighborhood located a few miles southwest of downtown Los Angeles. Throughout its 100 year history it has been a community of great cultural and ethnic diversity. To this day, we are one of the most diverse neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Jefferson Park has a distinguished cultural history and is known for its Arts & Crafts bungalows. A portion of historic Jefferson Park is a City designated historic district, known as the Jefferson Park Historic Preservation Overlay Zone (HPOZ). With over 2000 structures, this historic district includes an astonishing number and variety of Arts & Crafts bungalows, as well as examples of other architectural styles from the same period. It is thought to be one of the largest collections of Arts & Crafts bungalows in the country.
